How To Manifest Everything You Ever Wanted
The process I've done for six years to make my dreams a reality.
Manifestation might sound like a magic trick, but it’s absolutely possible to manifest your dream life. The practical truth? It takes time, resilience, and consistency. If you show up every day and commit to the process, I promise you can make it happen.
For the past few years, my dear friend Court has hosted an end-of-year workshop called Prophetic Visions. It’s a mix of visualization, movement, and group dialogue, all leading up to creating your vision board for the year ahead. That workshop was the spark that ignited my own intentional manifestation practice.
At its core, manifestation is about turning your dreams into reality through clarity, belief, and action. It’s about getting clear on what you want, visualizing it as though it’s already yours, and taking aligned steps to bring it into your life. Manifestation works on the principle that your thoughts, emotions, and energy shape your reality—by aligning these with your goals, you create the space for them to materialize.
I’ve always been a dreamer and someone who loves mood boarding as a creative outlet, but in 2018, I decided to make my manifestation practice explicit. Since then, I’ve been able to achieve almost every goal I set—or, at the very least, kickstart the larger journey toward them. It’s a practice rooted in belief and action, and it’s been one of the most powerful tools in shaping my life.
This is my three-part approach to manifesting the life of your dreams.
Step 1: The Text-Based Mood Board
Before you dive into what you want to manifest, take the time to reflect on how you want to design your life. Think about the key dimensions of your life and where you’d like to grow or build on the work you’ve already started.
Here are my core dimensions:
Physical Health
Mental Health
Creativity
Career
Relationships: Family, Community, Romance
Play and Adventure
Spirituality
Your dimensions may look different, and you might focus more deeply on certain areas—and that’s okay. Life evolves, which is why revisiting this process each year is so rewarding. Maybe health is your focus, spirituality feels unclear, or you’re in a season of uncertainty.
Clarity often comes through solitude, journaling, and taking the time to visualize. Gift yourself that space to reflect and realign with what truly matters to you.
Now that you’re ready, write it out. Choose a space you’ll revisit often—Keynote works for me (each slide represents a different year), but Google Docs, Notes, or Canva might be your go-to. Pick whatever feels easy to organize and build on year after year.
Making this list is a reminder of where you’re headed, and it feels like a contract with yourself. It is a contract with yourself.
Below are my real text-based vision boards from 2018 to 2023. Maybe next year I’ll share 2024—I’m still in the process of manifesting this one :)
What’s most fascinating isn’t just the specific goals but how much more focused and refined my intentions have become over time. In 2018, I had just launched my brand agency, Levitate. By 2020, I was clear on wanting to launch Crown Affair, and by 2023, my goals had become sharper, with a greater capacity to achieve them.
The key with this board is to revisit it regularly and break your goals down into actionable steps. I use the project management tool Asana to organize the steps for each goal, refining as needed throughout the year. Remember, this is a lifelong journey—progress over perfection is what truly matters.
By 2023, I began incorporating what I’m welcoming and what I’m releasing for the year into my process. I’ve shared my intentions for 2024 here—stay tuned for 2025.
Step 2: The Vibe-Based Vision Board
Now that you’ve outlined your goals and dimensions, it’s time to gather visuals that capture the essence of what you’re seeking. This board isn’t necessarily a literal representation but more about the vibe—a feeling. For me, it’s often ethereal and spiritual, reminding me of how I want to feel and be as I move through the world—focused more on presence than action.
There’s no right way to do this—pull images from your phone, Pinterest, or anywhere that inspires you, and organize them in a way that feels natural to you.
I love sourcing images and collaging with a great playlist in the background. This year’s Prophetic Visions playlist is here, and if you’re after peaceful, lyric-free tones, my favorite frequency playlist is here.
Step 3: The Literal Vision Board
Now it’s time to get specific. This vision board should reflect the literal things you want to do or achieve—whether it’s finding your soulmate, your dream home, or welcoming more creativity into your life. The visuals you surround yourself with shape the visual literacy of your life, so fill this board with images that inspire belief and action.
Why This Process Works for Me
Manifesting isn’t magic—it’s about clarity, intention, and alignment. When I create these boards, I define what I want, visualize it, and set a clear path forward. Seeing my goals daily—whether written, vibe-based, or literal images—keeps me grounded and motivated.
Here’s the thing: it works. Maybe not always in the way I imagined, but every year, pieces of these boards come to life. Dreams that once felt far away start unfolding because I stayed clear on where I wanted to go. And there’s nothing better than crossing them off my text-based list and building on them for the year ahead.
Do this solo, with a friend, or in a group. When you’re ready, print out your boards so you can look at them daily. Share your goals and visuals with someone you trust—it’s been transformative for me to have accountability and support from my community.
Remember, real change doesn’t happen overnight. It’s built through consistency—thinking deeply about what you want, visualizing it, and showing up daily, even in small ways, to work smart and stay aligned.
Becoming who you are is lifelong work. It’s not about shortcuts but about creating lasting change that reflects your true self and where you’re headed.

And now… 3 Things I’m Loving and a Haircare Tip
Surprise, you’re getting four things today because of the incredible response to this note.
Splits59 Workout Set — I was recently gifted this set and loved it so much that I immediately bought another so I wouldn’t have to wait for laundry day. It’s soft, flattering, durable for workouts, and neutral with a stylish, subtle design. Their sweatpants are just as amazing—if you’re still mourning the loss of Entireworld, these are my new go-to.
Function Health — This has been one of the best health investments I’ve made in the past two years. The biomarker tracking system (mapped by biannual bloodwork) has been a game-changer for staying accountable and diving deeper with my practitioners. I’ll share more about this in an upcoming newsletter, but in the meantime, because the waitlist for Function is very long—use DCOHEN10 to skip the line :)
Manolo Blahnik in 50mm Height— Unless it’s a formal event, I usually skip heels, that said, the brilliance of the 50mm heel has recently won me over. Pair it with a great pair of trousers (these are my most worn pair this year), and you have an elegant, comfortable combo that gives the illusion of a heel without any discomfort. I’m obsessed with this style from Manolo—the cream adds a polished touch to almost any look.
Adjustable Phone Stand —I use this every day. If you don’t already have one, this type of phone holder is low key life-changing. It’s nothing fancy, but trust me—stop relying on your thumb and hand to do the heavy lifting. Pop your phone in this, and use both hands, your index finger, or even a digital pen instead. Bonus: if reducing screen time is one of your goals, having it perched across the desk or room makes it way less tempting to reach for.
1 Hair Tip: Prepare for an Air Dry January
January is the perfect time to hit reset, and that includes your hair.
Embracing air drying can give your strands a break from heat styling while celebrating your natural texture. After washing:
Gently pat your hair with a microfiber towel to absorb excess water without causing frizz.
Comb through and apply a lightweight leave-in conditioner for hydration and frizz control.
Apply a few pumps of The Texturizing Air Dry Mousse to add definition to your natural hair texture
For added shine and softness, warm a drop of hair oil between your hands and scrunch it into your ends.
The key to Air Dry January is leaning into simplicity—your hair, your texture, your effortless beauty. You’ve got this.
I love reading people’s personal manifestation practices, huge kudos that you’ve stayed true to your vision and achieved so many things you’ve set out to. Have you heard of To Be Magnetic? I swear by Lacey Phillips process!
Love how generous you are with your process!!
